Η απόκτηση της ανώτερης θέσης φαίνεται δύσκολη

Είμαι λίγο ανήσυχος ότι δεν θα καταφέρω να αποκτήσω ανώτερη θέση. Δεν ξέρω καθόλου πολλά για αυτόν τον κόσμο και είμαι εδώ γιατί αναζητώ απεγνωσμένα λύσεις στο πρόβλημά μου, οπότε δεν μπορώ να φανταστώ ποτέ να δημοσιεύσω κάτι που θα θεωρηθεί «χρήσιμο» σε κανέναν. Καταστροφολογώ ή αυτό είναι πραγματικά απελπιστικό;

Απλά να είσαι ο εαυτός σου. Θα βρείτε ένα σωρό πράγματα και πληροφορίες που μπορείτε να διαβάσετε και να απαντήσετε. Η αναμονή για το ανώτερο μέλος θα φαίνεται μεγάλη. Αλλά θα πάει γρήγορα. Είμαι μέλος τώρα για 2 χρόνια και άφησα την κατάστασή μου να λήξει, οπότε πρέπει να κάνω 30 δημοσιεύσεις για να επιστρέψω στην ανώτερη θέση. Οι πληροφορίες από αυτό το φόρουμ θα σας βοηθήσουν πραγματικά με τις ανάγκες σας. Κανείς δεν κρίνει εδώ και όλοι είναι φιλικοί. Καλή τύχη στο ταξίδι σας.

@Karmakitten You do not need to know much about the world.
I bet you know a lot about yourself. You'd be surprised how posting things about yourself can be helpful to another member.
Plus you can post in the off topic forums. There are games, music, food and just about anything you can think of.
You will find a lot of information here. Members are so knowledgeable and helpful.

Just find any thread that interests you and throw in some conversation. There are many different areas to explore and it gives you a chance to get to know folks around here as we get to know you. That’s pretty much the point of having the path to being a senior - just my opinion tho.

If you’re in a big hurry there are some other forums on the net like DBG, but they are much less trustworthy, again imho, for reliable information because the vendors basically have control of the info about themselves.

It sucks that folks have to take these matters into their own hands but it’s also extremely liberating. Just stick around and you’ll get there…

There is always something you can join in with on this forum to help you. Music, word games, movies, emphasising with others, welcoming newcomers are just some suggestions.

There are a ton of off-topic threads here such as sports, books, movies and tv shows, even pets. Lots and lots of areas to post. Browse around and see what interests you. I felt a lot like you in the beginning and sometimes still do but members here are welcoming and kind. Just stick with it as this forum is a goldmine of information and support.

Getting to senior level seems daunting but really is just a matter of putting in the effort. The biggest misconception is that new members think they are going to have to have a wealth of information that they have to share. Nobody is going to critique you over how much knowledge you have, or don’t have, of this world. As already mentioned, there are hundreds of topics on here that you can chat about and discuss, and those all count towards senior status. Welcome and enjoy.

Come over and play some games on the "Not Safe For Work" part of the Off Topic forum. Dunno why it's called that as it's safe unless your boss catches you playing games and slacking. Off Topic also has lots of threads where you can give helpful or merely entertaining input or advice. It's not about "this world". It's about everyday stuff from cooking to pets to travel to how you're feeling today.

While "helpful" posts do get you double points, other reactions also get you points. So just engage.

I also think this forum has very reasonable requirements; not too high that it's tiresome, but enough that people get to know you a bit better before you're allowed to access the Senior area, which means more saftey for all of us. Embrace it!

I lost my Senior status once and it was a pain getting it back. I'm trying to avoid that happening again, and as I understand it a single post every 3 months is all it takes. Can you or anyone for that matter verify that is all it takes? Thanks.

one post every 3 months to have remain senior doesnt seem like a lot at all

Been on this board for a decade and yeah, obviously don't post much. Maybe more recently just out of boredom / loneliness. But I want to ask, why do we want to be in the senior section again? I've never been in it and found the few sources I needed out in the open here way back when. Is there something special going on back there in the VIP room or something?

@CoralSpringsPete There are email vendors as well as many more reviews for other websites. Websites which sell a certain level of "scheduled/controlled" meds are not allowed to be listed in the open section, only in seniors. So there are more options overall.

It has been worth it for me for feedback and peace of mind on some websites I'd already discovered myself. And I also found a new source I'd never come across before, which seems to have consistently good quality. No reason not to be in that section if you're on here already, especially as reliable websites can shut down or go rogue at some point.

So far putting a good amount of thought into posts while also remaining active and engaging in discussions seems to be improving my rep and increasing post count much more quickly than I'd anticipated, I've been quite surprised by it. Looking forward to seeing behind the curtain hopefully by the time my first month here is up, I'll have met the other requirements. I like it here, should've done this ages ago but I couldn't remember the name!
